NEW BLOG!!!

I am very happy to announce that I have a brand new spankin blog that I can't wait to share with you all... It looks as though this blog has almost reached 50,000 hits, and so I thought it would be fun to launch a new and improved one when that hit occured. BUT that's probably a few weeks out and I'm seriously not patient. SO today is the day. Rebookmark me or whatever you need to do to find the new blog home. The address should be super easy to remember. Just add my website www.etfphotography.com + /blog and there you have it! I haven't been posting teasers of my last few shoots because I wanted to save them for this. So hurry on over and check out the GORGEOUS bridal shoot I did last week with the lovely Nicole. CLICK HERE AND I'LL TAKE YOU THERE. And I'm sure this goes without saying, but there will be no more new posts on this address, but of course this blog will remain for all of you who still want to share your sessions with friends, and for those traveling back in time.

Still here? COME HERE, IT'S A PARTY!

part two

Jantse & Drew opted to see each other for the first time before their ceremony so we'd have the best light to shoot their portraits in. It also meant I was able to catch the sweet tear of joy Drew said when he saw his bride to be for the first time. What a special day! (If you missed the first half of this wedding, you'll find it HERE)

I love this moment...

And this one...

Okay, this one if just funny...

Self portrait for the day.

Then we snuck out, or tried to at least, to catch a few last shots of the now offical couple.

our cat Emerald

This little mommy somehow heard my cry of a "mouse in the house", because she showed up the next day and hasn't left since. Of course it could be the food we now provide keeping her around. Or the comfy garage she and her three kittens have taken a liking to. But we'd like to think she just likes us. The kittens are adorable, but we rarely see more of then than a blur. They run and hide as soon as they hear Ella coming. But once they're through the fence to the neighbors I guess they feel safe. So today I watched one through the fence having a jolly o'time with Emmy's tale. (Her eyes are a gorgeous green so I dubbed her Emerald and Jordan shortened it to Emmy or Cat). Ella loves having them around. And it gives us an excuse to play in the backyard daily now. Unfortunately, today, Ella found the one escape route from our backyard. There's a hole in the fence to the side of the garage that she's never noticed until now...

We're hoping somehow the kittens decide they like us. There's two black ones, and our favorite, a pretty striped one, but she's yet to be more than a blur so we'll see.
