Chicago

I was totally spoiled this weekend...working. Jordan got to come with me and so we flew into Chicago a day early to give us some play time. Our hotel was lovely, located in "Greek town". The food we ate was amazing. And Kaury and Nathan's wedding was all that I hoped it would be (minus the dogs...their absence ended up on a list of "way to make the wedding less stressful"). It will take me at least a week to sort through all the pictures we took. Kaury rented a "party bus" for the wedding party to shoot around town. Fabulous idea for getting great bridal party shots (and having fun too). Needless to say, I took A LOT of pictures and I love so many. But for now, here's a few teasers from the wedding, and some "art" shots Jordan and I grabbed while shooting around our Greek neighborhood for a bit.

And for those of you who've emailed me to take advantage of my art offer, I will be getting back to you sometime this week, if I haven't already. For those of you who'd like to get in on the redecorating fun, I must receive an email by tomorrow at midnight! My week's going to be busy, but fun, so I can't wait. Tonight I'm taking Jocilyn's (future sis-in-law) bridals, tomorrow is my birthday, and Friday we close on our house... so excited!

And a random FYI: If you're a future bride reading all this and would like to be one of MY future brides...please note that I'm almost booked for the summer, with only one September opening left. However, I do still have a few portrait openings, so don't hesitate to call if you're wanting pictures for anything other than a wedding.

I'm waiting to find my talent and be awesome like you at something. I love the shot of the couple in the flowers. It belongs on a magazine cover, for sure! The shots around the city are great too! That taco burrito king made me giggle. I'm a jerk and forgot that your birthday is tomorrow! We'll celebrate.
